A Swiss émigré, Mr. Lanz studied under the best Swiss pastry chefs and brought his culinary expertise to Houston, Texas in 1962.  


Mr. and Mrs. Lanz opened the Swiss Pastry Shop in 1962, where it has continued to be a treasured Houston icon today.


Their daughter, Sylvia Lanz, continues the tradition of maintaining the finest Swiss Lebkuchen ingredients for the most delicious Gingerbread Men and Gingerbread Houses.


Decorating Gingerbread Men and Gingerbread Houses is a fun, inspiring and creative way for families to spend time together.  It's age proof too - everyone loves Gingerbread.
